My time working on the leadership team with Dr Joe Dispenza was one of the most profound experiences of my life. I mean that.
I learned a great deal from Joe and even more from the extraordinary community around him. Co-facilitating weeklong advanced retreats around the world, holding space for nearly a hundred people at each event in their deepest pain and their most profound breakthroughs, was an honour.
But something wasn’t adding up.
I was creating incredible experiences. Travelling the world. Six-star resorts. Rubbing shoulders with Nick Vujicic and Jay Shetty. I was in every healing session, doing every practice, living the work from the inside.
And I survived the intensity by drinking natural energy drinks and multiple cups of coffee a day.
I didn’t heal.
And I wasn’t the only one. I watched people have genuine, real, unexplainable breakthroughs. I also watched many of those same people relapse. The highs were extraordinary. The crashes afterward were quiet, private, and real. Symptoms that seemed healed would return. Patterns that seemed resolved would resurface in a new context.
I started to ask why.
What Was Actually Happening
When my brother died, I found the missing key.
There were two things missing.
The first was an understanding of the universal laws that govern how reality actually works, and specifically where elevated state practices operate directly against them.
The second was the incomplete emotional events. The unresolved moments still running in the background of the nervous system, still broadcasting their frequency, still generating the same patterns regardless of how many hours were spent in meditation. You can change your state. You cannot meditate past what has not been completed. Until those events are found and resolved at the root, the results will always be temporary.
His work has genuine value. What I’m saying is there are two fundamental things it does not reach. And together they explain why so many people who do this work sincerely, for years, are still looping.
The Incomplete Emotional Events
Every time you were overwhelmed as a child, particularly before you had the language or the context to process what was happening, your nervous system entered a survival state. In that state, the rational processing centres went offline. The experience could not be fully felt, integrated, or completed. So it did not get filed away as a finished memory. It got frozen. Stored as an active, unresolved event still running in the background of your neurology.
That stored event does not sit passively. It broadcasts.
Your brain is a predictive system. It constantly models the present based on past experience. When an incomplete emotional event is held in the system, the brain treats it as ongoing. It filters incoming information through the lens of that original unresolved moment, looking for evidence that confirms it and deleting evidence that contradicts it.
You can meditate for hours and hold elevated states and still be broadcasting at the frequency of unresolved grief, shame, or fear underneath. The law of resonance, which we will come to, responds to the deeper signal. Not the performed one.
This is why people in the Joe Dispenza community would manifest extraordinary experiences and still feel unfulfilled. Still triggered. Still reactive. The conscious mind was reaching for one thing. The subconscious architecture was broadcasting another.
Until the incomplete emotional events are found and completed at the root, the resonance does not change. The patterns do not stop. The results do not hold. This is what I kept seeing at Joe Dispenza retreats.
The Four Laws That Explain the Rest
The second missing piece is structural. Several of the most fundamental universal laws explain precisely why elevated state practices produce results that do not hold, and why, for some people, the harder they push, the worse the crash.
The Law of Polarity
Everything has an opposite. Joy cannot exist without sorrow. Challenge cannot exist without support. You cannot have one side without the other.
This is not philosophy. It is the structure of reality.
When a teaching asks you to reach only for elevated emotions, to sustain gratitude, joy, and love as your dominant states, it is asking you to live on one side of a fundamental law. And the law will always restore balance.
You cannot meditate your way into permanent elevated states. Not because of anything you did wrong. Because the law of polarity will generate the other side. Every time.
This is why people leave retreats in extraordinary states and find the opposite waiting for them at home. It is not failure. It is physics.
The Law of Rhythm
The pendulum always swings.
Whatever direction you push, the pendulum swings back with equal force. This is the law of rhythm and it operates whether you believe in it or not.
The more energy you put into sustaining elevated states, the harder the pendulum swings in the opposite direction when it goes. The crash after the retreat high is not a relapse. It is the law of rhythm in action. The force you applied going up is the same force that pulls you back down.
This does not mean elevated states are worthless. It means trying to sustain them as a permanent condition is working against one of the most fundamental laws of existence.
The goal is not to live at the top of the pendulum. The goal is to collapse the incomplete emotional events that are causing the extreme swings in the first place.
The Law of Resonance
You do not attract what you think. You attract what you are.
And what you are is determined not by your conscious thoughts or your meditation practice, but by the subconscious programs running underneath them. The incomplete emotional events still running in the background of your nervous system are broadcasting a frequency that overrides the conscious elevated state you are working to hold.
You can hold gratitude for an hour and still be resonating at the frequency of unresolved grief underneath it. The law of resonance responds to the deeper signal. Not the performed one.
This is the missing key inside the law of attraction. It is not about acting positively or thinking the right thoughts. It is about clearing the incomplete events that are running the deeper broadcast.
The Law of Eristic Escalation
The universe seeks balance. When you push hard in one direction, a counterforce is generated somewhere else to restore equilibrium.
When you hold a one-sided perception, all positive, all elevated, all light, and reality inevitably shows you the other side, you do not just feel disappointed. You feel betrayed. That gap between expectation and reality generates emotional charge. That charge generates reaction. The reaction generates counterreaction. The polarity escalates.
This is why the more intensely someone commits to positivity-only practices, the more violently the shadow eventually erupts. Not because they are weak or undisciplined. Because they have been training themselves into an increasingly one-sided perception of reality, and the law of eristic escalation is generating the counterforce with equal intensity.
The resolution is not to stop feeling elevated emotions. It is to stop expecting reality to be one-sided. To embrace both. To find the balance that is already there in everything, if you are willing to look for it.
What I Found on the Other Side
After I stepped away from Joe Dispenza’s organisation, I understood that the work I had been doing and facilitating was genuinely powerful but was missing a layer.
The layer underneath.
The incomplete emotional events that no amount of elevated state work was reaching. The subconscious programs continuing to broadcast their frequency regardless of what was happening in the meditation. The one-sided perceptions generating escalating counterforces in people’s lives without them understanding why.
This is what NeuroCognitive Rebalancing™ was developed to address. Not as a replacement for the practices that genuinely open people up. As the layer that goes underneath them, finds what is still unresolved, and collapses it at the root.
When the incomplete event is completed, the resonance changes. Not because you performed a different emotional state. Because the program broadcasting the old frequency is no longer running.
That is the missing key.
If You Have Done Joe Dispenza's Work and Are Still Looping
You are not failing. The work you did was real. The breakthroughs were real.
The incomplete events underneath are still running. The laws of polarity, rhythm, resonance, and eristic escalation are doing what they always do. And until the root is found and completed, the results will continue to be temporary.
If you want to find out what is underneath the pattern that keeps returning, that is exactly what a discovery call is for.
Or if you want to go deeper into the Cosmic Law Framework and how to live in alignment with it, that is what the Alchemy Immersion is built around.
